*Raffle ticket purchases are not tax deductible as a charitable contribution. The winner of the vehicle or alternate cash prize is required by law to pay to American Cancer Society both federal and state income tax with holdings before the prize can be awarded. All IRS requirements must be satisfied before the prize can be awarded. The winner of the vehicle is responsible for processing, license, and registration fees. The federal withholding tax rate is 24% and is applied to the fair market value of the 2018 Nissan Rogue S, which is $26,245 or to the alternate cash prize of $20,000 if selected. The state withholding state rate depends on the winner’s legal residence. Employees of the American Cancer Society and their families, American Cancer Society volunteer chairs and committee members, and employees of MileOne Autogroup and its subsidiaries are not eligible to win. Winner must be at least 18 years old. Winner need not be present to win, but must be available to attend the contest-related event in January, 2019 at Hall Nissan Virginia Beach. Winner must also consent to the use of his or her name, image, city and state of residence and/or photographs without compensation in any publicity or advertising by American Cancer Society and MileOne Autogroup, except where prohibited by law. The raffle winner has 30 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize and complete all paperwork associated with the process. After 30 days, the prize will be awarded to the back-up winner chosen under the same conditions.
